The Pre-Visit

It can be hard trying to find a stylist that is right for you. I hope to make that process as easy as possible. I have a FAQ page you can check out, and you can submit a new client request form before or after you book your appointment with me. This helps me better understand your hair needs and goals. I will reply via email in 1-3 business days. this is not a required step, but is highly recommended. 

 

For your convenience, and to make sure I am best prepared for your visit, I also have a space for any notes or important information on my booking page when you reserve your appointment (Time restrictions, allergies, thick hair, etc.). I will reach out if we need to adjust anything, or to ask any follow up questions!

I run my business from Escape Salon Suites, a space for independent hairstylists. There is no reception area or check-in desk. You can have a seat in the front waiting area, or you can wait at an open seat near my station, # 113 just down the hallway on the right when you walk in. If I am not already waiting for you, I will be with you shortly.

The Consultation

Consultation is a pinnacle component of achieving your desired look. Some people know exactly what they want, while others might be seeking more direction on how best to achieve that look. I make every effort to understand the vision that you have for your next look by conducting a detailed but not excessive interview and observing your inspiration photos.

 

From there, I take some time to discuss your styling routines, at home care, budget, and desired maintenance where we collaborate to consider the varying ways that your look can be achieved based on your needs. I try to be thoughtful in my suggestions and considerations on the basis of those needs as well as your hair health history which further assists to inform not just what looks good, but what can also help your hair to become healthier and easier to maintain  when possible.

Post-Appointment

Before leaving the salon, I make suggestions like pre-booking to assure that you have a spot when you need it most. For those who require a more ‘on-the-go’ lifestyle, I send a follow up email with my suggestions on when best to book your next appointment. I take detailed notes for you so that you can stay informed on the color formulas that were used, and I review those notes before every styling session. In this email I also make product suggestion to further assist you in best practice for hair health and style maintenance.

If we chatted about anything, such as TV shows, local places to eat or shop, etc, I also like to provide any information I recommended to you there, because I know I would forget and be kicking myself!
